Before you contact them
Remember, you will always need to ensure you continue to pay your Help to Buy management fees and monthly interest payments, if these are due, until you repay your equity loan in full. Before you can make any changes to your equity loan you will need to have settled any outstanding payments — or have set up a payment plan.
What you’ll need to identify yourself
To ensure the Customer Service team can identify you when you contact them, you will need to provide:
- your name
- your date of birth
…and two of the following:
- your customer account number — this can be found on any letter they have sent you
- the first line of your address and postcode
- the name and date of birth of anyone else on the equity loan
- your phone number
- your monthly interest payment amount and date
- your password — if you have one
Please have this information ready when you call, or include it in any email you send, to avoid delay in them dealing with your enquiry.
